Have you ever wondered why cats are actually so cute? What is it about these clever creatures that makes us want to cuddle and kiss them all day long? Let’s take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of the reasons we love cats so much.

They are independent creatures

We often think that cats are needy creatures that need constant attention and petting. But that is not the case at all. Cats are actually quite independent creatures that are quite capable of taking care of themselves. They don’t need humans to survive, and they don’t need us to make their lives more comfortable. That’s why it’s important to remember that we’re actually being nice to them when we think about how we can improve their lives (e.g., by neutering them). Although cats are independent creatures, this does not mean that they are aloof or uncaring – quite the opposite. They are highly sensitive creatures that enjoy a high level of social interaction. If we want to be sure that our cats are comfortable and happy, the best thing we can do is to allow them to socialize. This could mean feeding them stray kittens or putting them in a cat cafe with other cats (just to name a few possibilities).

They are smart animals

It is well known that cats are naturally smart animals, and there is a wealth of anecdotal evidence to support this. Take the example of the house cat that figured out how to open the refrigerator and steal our food. Or how about the cats who have learned to open front doors and escape from their homes? These are just a few examples of how cats are problem solvers by nature. They are truly ingenious animals whose brains are constantly evolving and who are always coming up with new strategies and methods to solve old problems. Once we think about it, it’s clear that cats must be doing something right to survive the evolutionary bottleneck that was modern life. In other words: If they had not been genetically engineered for the present age of man, they would certainly have died out long before.

They are adorable pets

Even if we didn’t love cats for their independent and smart nature, we would still hug them because they are such precious, cuddly animals. These creatures have a charm and kindness that is impossible to resist. Although it is frustrating when one of these sweet angels scratches or bites us, it is also a great joy when they welcome us into their world of warmth and soft fur. So even if we didn’t have enough reasons to love cats, it would be an undeniable fact that we want to keep them as pets.

They are loyal friends

We have just described that cats are cute and friendly creatures, but this is only the beginning. They are also loyal friends to whom they give their affection and would defend to the death. Only an unwise person would ever harm a cat’s friend. The relationship between these animals is based on mutual trust and affection, and it is a bond that is difficult to break. Even when we are at our wits end with pain and suffering, it is still our faithful friend, the cat, who comes to us for comfort. These are qualities that are not only endearing, but also show the value and reliability of a friendship.

You are mature enough to be with children

We often think that cats are too affectionate and cuddly to be with other people, especially children, but this is not true. In fact, they are quite capable of being with other people and entertaining them. If you’ve ever seen cats interact with other animals (dogs, for example), it becomes clear that they are not only smart and friendly, but also very tolerant and relaxed with other creatures. While we do not want to encourage physical aggression toward others, we must remember that these are not helpless creatures who need our protection. They are quite capable of taking care of themselves and defending themselves against unwanted advances. Since animals instinctively tend to protect their own young, it’s best for everyone involved, including children, if adults don’t overprotect these precious bundles of fur and don’t assume they need our help. Even if a child is clumsy and accidentally bumps into a cat or drops something on it, it’s usually not dangerous. The cat’s natural curiosity will ensure that it explores what it has encountered, while the human adult will ensure that it cleans up after itself.

They offer us a reflection of ourselves

When we think about it, we don’t often think about what the mirror might say about us. When we gaze into the murky depths of the reflective surface, we usually don’t notice all the distracting details around us. We see only our own reflection and occasionally the flash of something unusual, like a bird or a cat (usually a black cat). Despite the fact that we live in a fast-paced, high-tech world, it’s important to remember that mirrors don’t lie. When we look into these surfaces, we see the person or thing that we are. The mirror image does not lie and is not deceptive. Although we may not like what we see when we look at our imperfections, it is important to remember that we cannot hide from our own reflection. Sometimes it can even be a little scary, but for the most part, it’s just another opportunity to grow and learn. The fact that a cat’s reflection can be cute and funny is certainly an added bonus that makes this little creature such a unique and interesting pet. When we think of all the wonderful things we learned when we looked in the mirror, it’s hard to put into words how much that reflection helped us become better people. They are qualities we may not have recognized in ourselves before, but now that we know how special they are, we will always keep them in mind when we look in the mirror.

They are our sign of modernity

If you’ve ever shopped at Nordstrom’s, you may have noticed that they have a lot of chic and fashionable cats running around. You wouldn’t guess it by looking at them, but Nordstrom’s cats are a fashionable bunch too. These creatures may not always like being the center of attention, but they know how to dress to impress. It seems that Nordstrom’s cats have a penchant for expensive clothing brands, especially Hermès. These cats have access to the finest clothes and fashion, and they show it off by posing for magazines and helping customers find their perfect outfit. With the exception of the occasional staged photo for catalogs or websites, Nordstrom ‘s cats generally stay out of sight, carefully observing and noting what catches their eye and makes people smile. These stylish cats also deserve a smile; not only are they impeccably dressed, but they also have a sophisticated attitude that makes them charming company. It’s hard to associate elegance and sophistication with something as small and cuddly as a cat, but as we’ve already mentioned, they are remarkable creatures whose minds are as sharp as ours and whose innate sociability makes them wonderful friends. Having a cat around to cheer us up in the last months of 2019 will certainly be a joy.
