Real Nature Wilderness – Wet Food Test
For this post I bought a sample pack of the cat food Real Nature Wilderness. I chose it because it does not contain any cereals and the meat content is very high. In terms of composition, the feed therefore corresponds to the natural diet of cats, high meat content and a small part of vegetables, fruits and herbs.
The manufacturer of these feeds is MultiFit Tiernahrungs GmbH. I find the website quite appealing and you can find more information about the products. The food is distributed via the Zoomarkt Fressnapf. You can buy it both in the market and online. In the online shop of Fressnapf, however, there are often promotions.
Test of the Wilderness wet food – herring with salmon and duck
For the test I bought the 200g cans as this is the size our cats can consume even in one day.
After opening the can, the contents look relatively compact. However, this is deceptive, if you then take out the food you notice that it is rather soft. It has a consistency like a soft pate. The smell of the tested food with herring, salmon and duck, was not unpleasant and I could not perceive a particularly strong fish smell.

The composition of the other feed types is similar to that of the feed variety tested. A very high meat content, over 90% of the rest are vegetable ingredients such as vegetables, berries, herbs and water. In addition, small amounts of additional vitamins and minerals have been added to optimize the feed for nutritional pysiological reasons.
Conclusion
The question that is still open, how did our two test eaters Josie and Emil find the feed Wilderness from the Food Bowl? They ate it, but not with much enthusiasm. Here they are obviously spoiled by the Mjamjam cat food. Our “little” Josie has already shot herself on the dry food of Purizon and eats only little wet food. The price in the Fressnapf online shop is currently 9.36€ – 9.95€ for six 200g cans. However, I find the cat food good in quality and composition and recommend it further. If our two cats didn’t like it so much, of course that’s not a benchmark. Cats are sometimes very peculiar when it comes to food.
